Fitness of the Gods – Tangaroa
TANGAROA is the Māori God of the Sea and all things that live within it. The Māori Movement is Ika Rere the Flying Fish of the ocean, focusing on Strength and Mobility – Building resistance without strain and allowing joints to flow.
Warm upThe warm up is common to all levels of programmes and prepares the body and mind for the exercises ahead.
In Level 1 we focus on the strength and mobility with a movement called Papapaka.
In Level 2 we focus on the strength and mobility with a movement called Whaitara.

In Level 3 ADVANCED we focus on the strength and mobility with a combination of the movements from all 3 levels.
